Welcome to our blog....mostly about K-8 literacy, but some other stuff we're interested in, too!

We are Kris and Amy Serven, mother and daughter duo who spend our time talking about literacy, classroom management, adventuring, hiking, dogs, Jesus, and ADHD brains. We are here to share the real life, not-so-curated reality of teaching first graders and middle schoolers.
